Weighty Glory & The Merging of Presence and Mission
I had a dream on 4/13/2018 that I was in a huge old time, fancy theater packed FULL of people. I never saw the stage, but music started playing that I have never heard before. It was beautiful and it was awesome in the truest sense of the word. There was glory on it and the glory on it was amplifying its volume. Though it was loud, it wasn’t in a way that hurt the ears, but in a way that made your entire being down the very cells vibrate and tremble with the glory of God.
As the music started to play, I saw one after one, section after section of people from every background tribe and tongue respond to the glory. Senior men fell on their knees. Some were rendered speechless. People were wrecked everywhere I looked. The unsaved were crying out for salvation. The religious were crying out, now realizing how watered down of an understanding of God they had settled for. The groan of the believer joined the groan of the unbeliever.
Then I saw there was a move of evangelism in the place. I did not see the faces, but an evangelist and prayer warriors surrounding him started to come through the theater and people were falling out under the power. I’ll never forget the look on peoples’ faces. The last thing I heard in the dream was a decree that people were to being healed of the bubonic plague. The anointing for signs, wonders and miracles was evident and repentance flowed light a mighty river as hearts were quickened to worship Him in the fullness of His worth.
As the Lord quickened this dream in my spirit in the wee hours of 1/4/2024, He gave a warning.
He said, “Be careful not to persecute people who’ve pulled away from the grind of activity to the simplicity of worship. Be careful not to call them unproductive or ‘so heavenly-minded, they’re of no earthly good.’ I’m laying the highways of holiness through their worship. I’m tending the soil of regions through their prayer and intercession. I’m releasing the ministry of reconciliation through their ministry to ME.”
I see worship tents turning into evangelism tents. As the tabernacle of David is restored - Jesus as the center and His presence as the main thing – fruitful mission will be BIRTHED. Though the expression will be diverse, we’re about to see the merging of presence and mission like never before.
And weighty glory WILL come.
Lastly, the Lord showed me that the dream reflected a MOVE of evangelism through the BODY of Christ. And it was evident that the intercession surrounding evangelism was critical and absolutely essential.
So God asks us, “Who will prepare themselves for the weight of My Glory? Who will make themselves available to minister to ME? Who will groan for what My heart groans for?”
This is the time to make space. Clear out the clutter. And walk in step with the King of Glory.
“This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face - even Jacob. Selah. Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the KING OF GLORY may come in!” Psalm 24:6-7
